Bumper Lamb Season

The Agricultural Science classes of all ages have been enjoying the bumper crop of lambs produced at the school farm during term three.  The previous years’ selection of ewes for twinning ability has paid off, with 12 ewes producing 19 healthy lambs.  The Year 12 Certificate II in Agriculture class performed the lamb marking operations as part of their competency requirements and other classes have been improving their animal husbandry, handling skills and knowledge as well. The lambs are growing very quickly with the largest already reaching 40kg.
