Computer skills competition

Grade 9 and 10 Credit and Distinction recipients: Jeremy Burnell, Peter Pugno, Shalom Roes, Katie Draheim, Annalise Pugno and Kate Hall.
The International Computer Skills competition was conducted on Tuesday, 24 May. Students from Australia, Brunei, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands and Singapore in Grades 3 through to 10 were invited to compete. Stanthorpe State High School had 26 students from Grades 8, 9 & 10 nominate to answer the multiple choice paper. The results are now in with 9 Credits and 3 Distinctions being awarded to our students. It was pleasing to note that the scores of our Grade 8 and 9 students were above the Queensland average. This year’s paper was a particularly difficult one and the award winners are to be congratulated.
