Dr Seuss themed book fair ready to inspire

Book fair
Mrs Janny Steele and Mrs Melissa Pascoe ready to welcome students to Bookfair

This years Bookfair is planning on giving students a taste of Dr Seuss. What does that mean? Wacky and zany book inspired fun! Bookfair invites students from local Primary Schools to visit and participate in the Dr Seuss activities. These include story time, a drama play (performed by the Senior Drama students), learning how to make drinkable pink ink at Home Economics, and conducting zany experiments at Science. Plus based in the school Resource Centre are Dr Seuss books to read and crafts to make. Of course there are lots of books and other goodies for sale but the main aim is to bring students a love of reading and how it can be fun. Bookfair runs from 8.30am until 4.30pm each day Wednesday 18th May until Wednesday 25th May. Anyone can come along and look at the books, read them and do the crafts after school. Contact Mrs Melissa Pascoe for further information on 46815888.
