Excursions extend students’ knowledge and experiences.

Italian Opera

Italian students team building evening at the Opera in Brisbane.

Excursions have been heading out in all directions lately. Saturday saw the Year 12 students head off to the snow on their annual Outdoor Education camp. Learning to ski is the big challenge for the week but surviving the bus trip is also up there as a major challenge. This Saturday sees the Italian immersion students take off for 3 weeks in Italy combining both touring and attending school in the one visit. They will be billeted by students in Cividale de Friulli and experience true Italian lifestyles. The California Wine Tourism and Agricultural tour had an information meeting last Thursday night and have begun planning for their tour in September 2017. Stanthorpe State High School offers these tours and camps to extend students experiences and knowledge in a wide range of subjects.
