Homework Club

Every Wednesday from 3.15-4.30pm, Homework Club offers a quiet and relaxed place for students to complete assessments, revision, homework tasks or outstanding classwork in a supportive environment. Each week there are a variety of teachers from a range of subjects who volunteer their time to provide one-on-one support or small group tutorials. As well as the support of teachers, students can discuss and work with classmates for peer support if they choose. Students have access to the school laptops, internet and printers.

Homework Club is growing with between 15-30 students and 7 staff regularly attending. A free afternoon tea is provided. In consultation with Elevate, who recently presented to students, staff and parents, Homework Club is planning to facilitate a number of workshops in the future that cover time management, building a study routine, study skills, exam preparation tips and how to revise effectively.

We encourage students across all grades and subjects to attend a Homework Club session to find out what it is about and see if they too can benefit from this wonderful program. For more information contact Miss Kaylah Adams (07) 46815888 Monday, Wednesday, Friday or email kadam7@eq.edu.au
