Lego themed Book Fair is a must see

Preparations are well underway for the 2014 Bookfair.

Students from various district primary schools will be visiting Stanthorpe State High School this week to participate in the school’s popular Bookfair. The theme for this year’s fair is Lego – more than just blocks. Schools who are visiting during school hours will be enjoying programing with Lego robots, creating with Lego movie maker, listening to a real life Lego story about a Lego Man in Space, experiencing Lego cooking and enjoying a Lego play performed by the senior drama students! However if students would like to come and browse the books on display at the fair this can be done outside of school hours as well. The Stanthorpe State High School Resource Centre (Library) will be open to the public from 8am until 4pm every day from Monday 26th to Friday 30th May. Books can be purchased on the day with either cash or credit card payments. Visitors can also do the free time Lego activities on offer – colouring in, Lego building with blocks and even make their own Lego stop motion animation movie! Everyone is welcome to join in the fun of Lego!
