Ski Trip

Ski trip

Year 12 students and staff from Stanthorpe State High School left for their annual ski trip on Saturday 10th September. The first day of skiing at Perisher, the weather showed no signs of snow fall as gloves and jackets were taken off due to the intense heat. After lessons every morning, the students and teachers took advantage of the vast slopes, testing out their new found skills. Some skiers, braver than others, attempted such obstacles as the half pipe and the race course while others stuck to concentrating on not falling over! On Thursday, the students were lucky enough to wake up at their ski resort to a blanket of thick snow coating everything in view.  The fresh snow made skiing a little more difficult but didn’t stop everyone from enjoying themselves and having a fabulous time. Thank you to everyone involved in making ski trip 2016 such a memorable week. See you next year, Perisher!
