Surveying the streets of Stanthorpe

Evan and Matthew Harvey and Kieren Kemp survey the street scape of Marsh Street.

Year 7 Humanities students have been busy this week assessing the streets of Stanthorpe as part of their Geography unit, Place and Liveability. After studying urban regional and remote examples, students walked the length of Marsh Street looking at a range of liveability indicators such as traffic, housing styles, street furniture, foot paths, vegetation and facilities. The information will be used in a field report. Their verdict? Stanthorpe is a ‘pretty liveable place’.
