iPads use for Years 7 to 9 from 2024: BYO iPads are NO longer an option for years 7 to 9. Existing BYO students in years 8 and 9 that previously participated in the BYOx scheme are still permitted to continue using their BYO iPads. Any existing BYOx student in years 8 or 9 are welcome to swap to a school-owned device.

Laptop recommendations

If you are purchasing devices from other suppliers, we recommend student laptops have these minimum specifications. 

Please note: Hard Drive size of 256GB is the minimum specification and anything lower requires constant storage management. Please be aware of suppliers advertising lower spec hard drives of 128GB.

Snapdragon CPUs are not compatible with the Department of Education's IT network. Devices with a Snapdragon processor will not be able to use the school's network.
